Glorifying war and murder is IGT’s Battleship slot machine, the 40 payline, five reeled multi-feature slot based on the classic hit board game and so-so movie of the same name. Three scatter symbols awards two extra missiles, and three and four missiles been awarded for four or five scatter symbols landing anywhere in view. Your first five missiles are automatically targeted to each of the five ships, you may then use your bonus missiles to target any of the ships to reveal an award. The awards can be anything from one to fifteen freespins, a freespin multiplier between x2 and x5, or a bonus win between x1 and x25 your initial stake. Should you have any remaining missiles, each extra missile can be re-targeted onto the same ship to offer an award equal to the first missile strike.

Freespins cannot be re-triggered, so a small number will likely result in a low value total award, however the bonuses are not too uncommon, which makes up for the occasional poor results.As well as the missile bonus awards, there is also the Stacked x2 Wild Feature whereby each reel is loaded with groups of consecutive wilds to multiply any linked win by two.

Battleship is only ok, it was never going to be ground breaking, but it is an interesting and fun game with some nice animations and a reasonably high winning potential.
