The Hoff is back in the second slot game that Novomatic have designed paying tribute to David Michael Hasselhoff. With the success of the HoffMania game another Hoff themed game seemed a good idea and it’s certainly an entertaining and potentially profitable slot.
For several decades now the Hoff, as he has become known, has thrilled TV viewers. In Germany and Austria (where Novomatic are based) he’s a singing superstar with a string of hit records. He even got into the Guinness Book of World Records with a record breaking reverse bungee jump off Battersea Power Station. Is there nothing this man can do? Well plenty actually as he’s never had that much luck getting the better of Peter Pan when playing Captain Hook in panto!
Here we have a five-reel, three-row slot game that has a total of ten paylines. The number of paylines you play on each spin of the reels and the stake you make is entirely down to you. Don’t risk the chance of there being any financial problems caused when playing slot games, simply work out a budget you can safely play at and enjoy the game. Playing costs between £0.01 and £100.
I wasn’t over-impressed with the selection of symbols in the HoffMania game so I was hoping for better luck this time and thankfully they are. We get to see some of the possessions that a true superstar like the Hoff possesses. These include supercars (whether they talk to him or are packed with weapons I’m not sure), yachts and jewellery. There’s also one of his devoted fans plus the ten to Ace playing card symbols.
The wild symbol in this game is The Hoff himself and can earn you some big wins by substituting for other symbols in the game. If you can get five of The Hoff wild symbols on an activated payline that wins you 5000x your line bet. Even if you can’t stand the guy you’ll love him after that. It can’t sub for the scatter symbol which is the Hoffmeister game logo. Five of those anywhere on the reels pays a multiplier of 2500x. It also helps get you in the free spins bonus round as will shortly be explained.
If you want some time off from the screen, perhaps to watch a DVD of The Hoff in non-Oscar winning performance in ‘Three Crazy Jerks II,’ you can set an autoplay that can be stopped at any time you want.
To learn more about the game, go to the paytable. This has all the information you need to know about winning combinations and how much they pay plus details of the bonus game. Then have some free games to see the slot in all its glorious action, not as good though as watching the Hoff in ‘Revenge of the Cheerleaders.’
