These days if you see something with knights, dragons, and princesses, you’re probably watching ‘Game of Thrones.’ That’s definitely not the case here though in the Play N Go slot game ‘Prissy Princess.’ It’s a medieval themed game with some knights all head over heels in love with the princess. With its Crumbling Towers and several other excellent bonus features, you have a great chance to win big cash prizes and multipliers.
This is a five-reel game that has three rows of colourful symbols that contain a total of 20 pay-lines. That is a fixed number so no need to worry yourself over how many you should be activating on each spin of the reels. You do need to work out your budget though. The minimum cost of playing ‘Prissy Princess’ is 0.20 and the maximum 100. Setting your stake is easy with a selection of different stakes available underneath the reels. Simply choose the one you wish to play with and then spin those reels. Choose an amount you can afford to lose.
The game has a great look to it and adheres perfectly to its fairy-tale theme. On both sides of the reels are huge turrets that are part of the castle and have pink roses crawling up them. There’s even some butterflies flying around those flowers. The symbols are all theme related which is good to see. No playing cards on show here and there’s some handy animation too with some of the symbols, particularly the Knights.
There’s three knights, all of whom are madly in love with the princess. There are crossed swords, a mace, a breastplate, a shield, and the dragon. It’s the princess herself who is the wild symbol, she’d probably throw a fit if not given that honoured job. This can substitute for other symbols to help you in your quest for winning combinations but not the standards which are the scatter symbols.
There are a few bonus features in this busy slot so make sure you have some free games. That’ll show you how they all work. A glance through the paytable will give you more information. That includes details of how much you can win in the game and the rules for the bonus games.
No free spins in this game but one of our favourite features is included in this game and does offer lucrative re-spins. It has a variety of names but in this one it’s called ‘Crumbling Towers.’ You get a winning combination then the symbols that created it crumble to dust. New symbols are needed and when they arrive, the reels are re-evaluated and any new wins paid out. Then the process is repeated and continues to do so until no new wins are created. Above the reels is a treasure chest probably on loan from one of the many pirate-themed slot games out there. This one has five padlocks and if you manage to get five wins in a row courtesy of those Crumbling Towers, then you win a prize. This can be a multiplier as high as 100x or up to 5x the win you’ve had.
The dragon also plays a big part in this slot. A reel full of stacked knights will turn into a dragon wild and that can bring more winning combinations. Heaven knows what a dragon’s breath smells like but it can help get you more wins. If you’ve just had a spin that didn’t produce a win then you may well see the dragon fly across the screen and in doing so turn up to three symbols wild. Then it should be a case of counting how much you’ve won.
If the blue, green, and purple standard symbols end up anywhere on the first, third and fifth reels, this triggers the tournament. Your first job is to choose from one of the three knights who will do anything to impress the princess or even the dragon. Each round of the tournament sees one of the knights eliminated (a bit more vicious than Dragons’ Den). We don’t get to see the action that determines the winner of each round. It’s simply a case of waiting for the announcement of the winner. Prizes are given for how your selection finishes in each round and that could see you winning a cash prize that’s up to 200x your stake. Oh, and you also get the affection of the princess and half the kingdom.
A slot with very similar gameplay to ‘Prissy Princess’ is ‘Pharaoh’s Temple’ from Felix Gaming. It has a 5×3 set of reels with 20 pay-lines, is of medium variance and has expanding wilds. Then there’s ‘Double Bubble’ from Gamesys, which also sees you having to collect items to ensure a future win.
A great game to play because there’s so much happening in it. The Crumbling Towers feature is always likely to bring about wins as are the other bonus features. It makes a change not to have a free spins round and the game brilliantly adheres to its theme, though the soundtrack isn’t the greatest ever heard.
