Progressive Blackjack review

Progressive Blackjack plays along the same lines as regular blackjack, with the addition of a side bet for the chance to win a large progressive jackpot or a smaller bet for a multitude of different card combinations.

You can play Progressive Blackjack from one to six hands, and as the jackpot is an optional side bet, you have the option of using the game as regular blackjack and using the side bet as a periodic option should you wish.

How to Play Progressive Blackjack

Progressive Blackjack is essentially standard blackjack with an optional side bet, as such each hand must beat the dealers without exceeding 21. Your cards can also be split or doubled should they allow for it. The progressive jackpot accumulates from all of the casinos that offer this game, this means that the jackpot often reaches very high amounts before been won. It also starts at £50,000 so the final value is frequently beyond £100,000.

Winning the jackpot is no easy task, but then if it was it wouldn’t reach the high values it can often be found at. The lucky winner will need four aces in a row, all of the same suit and starting from the first card in the hand! If you hit the four aces but failed to place the side bet at the start of the game, you will not win anything, you may even lose the hand.

Depending on where you play, there will also be additional, easier to win prizes taken from the side bet.

The chance of winning a potentially life changing sum of money always adds excitement to a game, so Progressive Blackjack is a good choice for those who like to be in with a chance of hitting something big. I’m not entirely sure what the odds of hitting the jackpot are, but they have got to be less than winning the lottery, right?
