Pirate-themed slot games such as ‘Chests of Plenty‘ and ‘Treasure Island‘ popular but the battle is to make one that’s different from the rest. That’s not an easy task but WMS Gaming have certainly had a pretty good go with ‘Red Flag Fleet.’ It doesn’t just feature a female pirate but one that just happens to be Chinese. This most definitely isn’t Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow or Blackbeard.
It’s not just the oriental female pirate that makes this a very different game. The whole look of it is different and certainly takes a bit of getting used to. We have six reels and 192 paylines but it’s those reels that have the different look. Rather than the usual set of reels and rows, we have reels that start off with two positions, then three, four, five, six and seven.
The unorthodox set of reels are set in front of a Chinese ship sailing along a quiet blue sea. Symbols in the game are a variety of five pirates, three of which are female including one with an eye patch. There’s also the Jack to Ace playing card symbols padding out the reels and being the low value symbols in this game.
In addition, there’s also the Red Flag Fleet Logo which is the wild symbol in this game. It can substitute for the other symbols aside from the bonus symbol which is the pirate ship. An added bonus is the fact that the wild can appear stacked so those winning opportunities keep on increasing.
Playing the game costs between £0.40 and £80, a wide range so there shouldn’t be a problem finding an ideal one for your budget.
You can set some automated spins by using the control button that’s above the paytable. This sets between ten and 200 but can be stopped at any time you wish that to happen. Always handy in case you want some time away from the screen and a more specific autoplay can be set by using the options button at the top right hand side of the screen. Here you can set the autoplay to stop when you get a big win as you might want to stop playing once that happens.
Make sure you take a look through the paytable and also go through the rules of the game. That’s ideal preparation before risking your real cash, as is having some free games.
